There is still a chill in the air--but we've spotted red wing blackbirds and the robins can't be too far behind! Hope you have had a happy and healthy winter and you are making your plans for spring and summer vacations on Block Island. At the office we have been fielding your rental calls and the season looks great! There are still a few choice openings for late June and early July. Do call for specifics! And of course, if you are in to long term planning, September and October can't be beat for wonderful weather, empty beaches and great prices.

Mortgage rates are attractive and unlike some communities, Block Island historically posts steady appreciation rates and remains a highly desirable location for investors.

The island is bustling with the usual spring activity. Bridgegate Square is undergoing renovation and new sidewalks are being installed downtown and in front of our office. St. Patrick's day has been duly celebrated by the Lions club and local establishments. The Churches are gearing up for Easter celebrations this weekend.
